| Job Description: |
The GIS Architect primary task is to work onsite with GIS team to develop and support GIS applications. The position will be responsible for following job duties.
- Design, develop, implement and support GIS desktop and web based applications
- Create Map services and develop and publish GIS applications using ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online/Portal, ArcGIS Pro, JavaScript API, REST services
- Upgrade/customize/develop ArcGIS/ArcFM Electric/Gas utility applications
- Collaboration with technical and subject matter experts to gain an understanding of requirements
- Work with the Oracle DBA to design and configure the database
- Troubleshooting ArcSDE for connectivity, access, performance and other issues
- ArcGIS Server set up on enterprise based load balancer environment
- ArcGIS Portal Set up and development with web app builder to share applications to multiple business partners
- ArcFM Configuration on ArcSDE by considering relevant parameters
- Understanding system requirements and providing solution to multiple issues
- Application configuration in production environment

Qualification & Skills:
- 15+ years of experience in developing applications using ArcGIS product suite
- 10+ years of software development using C#, .Net Framework, WCF service
- 5+ years of experience in AspNET web API’s and MVC.
- 6+ years of software development using JavaScript API, Silverlight API
- Application development using ArcObjects, ArcGIS API’s
- Strong knowledge Oracle 11g and ArcSDE
- Knowledge with ArcFM design, configuration and implementation
- Strong knowledge with IIS with load balanced environment
- ArcGIS Server set up and configuration
- Experience with federating ArcGIS Server with ArcGIS Portal
- Experience with application trouble shooting
- Bachelor degree in Science/Computers/Engineering or equivalent
